Dear sisters,

Put God first and everything will fall into place.

Pulling someone down won't lift you up, it only means you're down yourself. Strong women don't cast down, they build up.

Confident ladies don't Compete, they compliment. Don't compete with them, learn from them.

You are more beautiful, stronger and more powerful than you know and you can do this. 💪

You are a princess ♕

You're amazing just the way you are. Love your body and find what out what works for you.

You are allowed to cry, but not for long. Hand yourself the tissue, pick yourself up and keep moving. That, my darling, is what a strong woman does.
You'll come out of this, stronger.

Accept your flaws and love them. They're a part of you. Without them, you won't be you.

Your daughter is looking up to you.

Not everyone deserves a chance in your life. Remember, "many are mad but few are roaming". Don't let anyone mess you up.

Finally dear sister, I love you.
Let your inner queen shine.
Build your QUEENDOM

DIARY OF A NIGERIAN GIRL_Mo' - Episode 2

Dear Diary,
The struggle (Morning Devotion) : Waking up very early in the morning is something I'm sure not everybody likes. In my own case, waking up for morning devotion, at 5:00am or 6:00am when my sleep is the sweetest. It is at times like this that I envy sango worshippers (Lord have mercy on your daughter🙏)
At least sango worshippers don't have to wake up 5/6:00am to start singing.
Don't get me wrong, I love God, very much and I love praying but waking up for morning devotion is usually hard and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Especially because my dad is a pastor, true Nigerian pastors' children can relate, and can attest to the fact that as a preachers kid, you get to read your bible everyday, whether you like it or not. We love reading our bible but we don't like waking up early.
Back to my morning devotion or morning altar as some people call it.
They wake me up mercilessly from my sweet sleep which is difficult because I love my bed.
There was even a time when my dad bought a bell, he rung that bell once and everyone magically appeared in the sitting room for morning devotion because that bell was so loud it was like my dad was preparing us for judgment day so that no matter how deep we are asleep, we'll hear when the trumpet of the Lord sounds. But the bell didn't work for long because my mummy protested that it gave her headache so my dad did away with it (Thank God).
Now, bell or no bell, we still have to wake up for morning devotion...
Believe me, it is better written about than experienced .

DIARY OF A NIGERIAN GIRL_Mo' - Episode 1

The struggle (Finances: Money wahala) : Growing up Nigerian has taught me a lot of things.
Dear readers, One thing I learnt as a young Nigerian girl in secondary school was: -"There is food at home".
This is one key that'll help you in life as a Nigerian.
Especially considering the fact that I wasn't one of the very "rich" kids.
I fall under the category of the comfortable ones, the middle class, I dare say.
The ones whose parent provided everything they NEED not WANT.
I never had to suffer for money to get the new text book or pay money for group assignments, my parents made sure I had those.
But what happens when I want that "extra"?
We all want "extra" once in a while so don't judge me.
Like that new top I saw yesterday that'll go well with my jean and I badly want even though I have countless tops at home or that new snack that cost way more than my allowance but I want to buy and still buy a drink to go down with it (Forgetting my mummy's saying "THERE IS FOOD AT HOME")
It always ended up in argument between my mom and I.
Of course, almost every Nigerian will agree with me that we only argue about things like that, with our moms  try that with my dad and you're toast, I mean literally, you are TOAST.
So my mom and I would argue about money for the top. She'd bring up relevant points about how extravagant I am, and how prudent I'm not but all that grammar won't matter to me, all I wanted was money for my top .
To cut the long story short, I win sometimes but that's after a serious lecture about life but mom wins most of the time.
